How long does your computer take to

How long does you computer take to start up? I mean from when you hit the power button to when Windows is loaded and you have internet explorer open. Mine takes 29 seconds

Mine takes 32 secs from push on to the desktop loaded.I have dial up and firefox,no IE and with our lousy exchange the time to establish connection can and does vary widely

never timed it but id say it would be simular to yours brownbox as i got 43sec on the last test you put out there on that 1mb thing ,,so if i didnt have a password id say id break even at 30

1:04 for me. Thats after a fresh install with theonly thing on the add/remove programs list being a few hardware drivers.

Also with the internet conection, my dial up takes about half a minute but sometimes it refuses to conect and will jsut get to "verifying user name and password" then fail, somethign to do with the server not responding, no matter how many times youtry it just wont conect..

Anyway imprety happy with my start up time, press the button get a drink and its started by the time I get back
