We had sweet weather in the Gold Coast for our whole stay, untill the afternoon we flew out (Thursday 25th) when the clouds rolled up and dropped their rain- which sucked for timing as I couldn't get any decent departure photographs out of OOL.
We didn't get any lightning, but here are a few shots taken from the very top of NSW (not sure if they will interest you or not Craig lol):
1. Cloudy Byron Bay

2. Pouring with rain outside Coolangatta airport

3. Jets on the apron

4. Our ride on the damp ramp (heh, that rhymes)

5. Turning for runway 32

6. 10,000 feet

7. 13,000 feet

8. 20,000 feet (my mates dad had a altimeter on his watch)
