So I've got a dress up party to go to the beginning of November and I'm aptly going as a pilot.

I've hit up the local costume store(s) and the person has managed to find me some Epaulettes and a pilots had and black tie. Although since I'm 195cm (6ft 5in. for you dinosaurs/pilots, since pilots use some imperial) correctly sized shirts are rather hard to come by. Anybody know where I'd be able to get a long or short sleeved shirt that has the shoulder marks on them? Black pants & aviators are no problem.

Also looked on trade me, and their full costumes are to small for me :/ I fit an XL or XXL

Van Huesen do make some 'tall' epaulette shirts that are longer and designed for pilots around your height. They're about $20 USD each from memory.

I had a look on their website and I can't see anything :/

Ah, man I'm an idiot, downunderpilotshop.co.nz -.- And they're here in Napier smile.gif. The Van heusen shirts are $10 extra than the regular white shirts, but I guess thats just $10 extra for a brand.

Sorry can't help with the shirts but you defiantly need a pair of over the top aviators.

How tall are you CP? About to go very off topic so I'll keep it short, are there height restrictions in being a commercial pilot? Apart from comfort I suppose.

1992 here biggrin.gif Ended up buying this anyway. I can get the Epaulette's from the costume shop (even though they're navy officer's ones) and a hat, which looks fairly aviation like tongue.gif Also got me some dress looking pants from the warehouse for $20, screw going to Hallensteins tongue.gif. None of the Aviators I found at the dollar stores wouldn't fit :/

Well i'm 1.82m. As far as I am aware there are no limits on pilot size.
I could do a shirt and possibly a hat if need be.

Bitta paint and you could hardly tell ... mind you, I had to get back to the RNZAF pilot training school the next day , but look at those shoulders enough room to put the captains Epaulette's on tongue.gif
