Just got back from a meeting in Brisbane that discussed engineering and other stuff involved in the spitfire. We have come to the conclusion that we will concurrently work on a simpler aircraft that trained pilots of around the same time this will slow progress on the Spitfire down for some time until the much simpler aircraft is completed. This aircraft is a Trainer of the period thus it will provide a steady course of in come, until the Spitfire is completed and ready for release. Wip updates of the Spitfire Engine block and undercarriage systems will be shown in a few months as work progresses we will continue updating and showing our products off.

The unofficial feature list is as follows
FSX version
Realistic Systems and engine management (may not be in intial release due to complicated coding)
HD livery's and 3d model
Fully clickable cockpit
Windscreen Dirt and scum that builds up
Ice modeling on exterior
And much more Other Stuff yet to be announced

Here is the firing order of the Merlin 66,67 and 68 Packard pistons A-1, B-6, A-4, B-3, A-2, B-5, A-6, B-1, A-3, B-4, A-5, B-2

Good score Elijah. I take it you've got a swag of said line drawings now?
BTW - why not keep a single thread going for your project aye, instead of a new post each time. How bout we rename this thread and move it into the announcements folder?

If ya want that is fine cool.gif. There wont be many updates for a whiles since were working full steam on a dynamic 3D Engine which is the merlin 66 really hard. Going through all the drawings geting piston measurements and putting that into the program. Make the title Like Spitfire Mk 9 thread. Because i have so many line drawings it's a bit hard sifting through all of them.

Yes Ian i think all aviation enthusiasts should have line drawings. As of a recent development (about 2 weeks ago) we have full cooperation with a Mechanic that has worked on many Spitfires, Mustangs, Tiger Moths and Harvards just to name a few.

We now have access to his knowledge base and his own aircraft which is currently being developed concurrently. This awesome guy will help emensely the development of both aircraft.

Ok forgot to add that the aircraft being developed concurrently is due for release before hand. Now please note the first few planes developed will take time since the team is small and at the moment flight sim does not pay the bills as of yet. We are planing to have a kick-starter soon but will release wip's before we do this.
