What do you reckon ? got all my gas bottles filled , grabbed some candles and extra socks
Im hoping it (the polar blast) will turn right at Timaru ..... but you never know ..... or are the media on a roll again ? or the met guys covering their butts.

Polar Shcmoller .. don't forget we have the Antarctic Base .. if we get a fleet of Skyhooks , only need a dozen or so we could hook it and drag it out to sea .

As you know Ian , nothing going on here ..... no wind , light rain and 10c . I dont care what comes .... 2 days off, plenty of food and gas ..... bring it on.

Actually it's not as bad as you'd think - in a country that's prepared for snow (winter tires, huge amounts of insulation, etc). I still prefer snow over wind
