I was following the debate on this, and I'm a bit...well...shocked... That's like giving a medal to a 747 pilot after every landing. I do understand that skills should be recognized though. Give the guy a bonus, or something, but a medal? Throughout the history medals were given to brave people who risked their lives for the good of others, completing almost impossible missions, being spontaneously innovative, and handling huge amounts of pressure in critical situations. I don't think any of these apply to a drone pilot. Again, I do respect the skills behind it, but there is no real risk or sacrifice involved...

My 2 cents...

Dan

I agree Dan, but after seeing what some of THESE are awarded for, why break the habit of a lifetime?
