Just about to (maybe) buy something online on behalf of one of my flatmates ..... an adapter for an HP Mini. Ive found a place called extreme pc in AKL .
Ive never heard of them, their website looks ok , just wanted to know if anyone has had dealings.

Im a suspicious bugger when it comes to giving credit card (some one elses) details on the net .

Cheers

No, looks like it has to be real HP parts:

A 19Volt -15amp (seems a lot) : Part number HP 496813-001 to fit an HP Mini, model #110-3100 .... so if you have one , just sitting there winkyy.gif

That is fine Bud my dad was a Microsoft re-seller in 95 in Christchurch and then progressed to software engineering and the likes. Most of my Computer Knowledge is from sitting next to him watching him work when i was younger (consequently i am still young) but that's pretty much it, if you ever want computer advice ask me and i'll ask my dad for ya.

I have an HP Mini that runs just fine using the standard HP power supply that came with my work HP Probook. You may not need to get a model specific power adapter?
