This one really took my fancy - I have a very large bin of crashed RC helicopter parts, and so was delighted to find something that has 5th generation gyros, and when you lose the plot, will just hover there until you get it together again.
It fits in your hand (strictly indoors flying)
The Piece de Resistance?
It is an airborne water cannon, delivering with great precision a tiny jet of water up to 1m away.

Heh heh...

House rules here: no animal tormenting.
But humans are fair game, and if you can elicit the comment: "Grow up!" then you have won the game...

The level of component miniaturisation is astonishing, year on year.

Lately I've been looking at the electric powered RC planes on TradeMe. In the $200/$400 bracket there's some amazing
stuff in the 2 metre plus wingspan size. At my stage of life I need a pretty good reason to convince SWMBO of the need
for such kit, perhaps to encourage grandsons into the hobby might do it.

I have a one meter span aircraft , just over $200 , but Rick just brought himself a smaller version because was told its the better one learning to fly because of its speed , couple of hours at it he was flying rings around himself course making it easier to keep it the confines of a local park .

This is the one http://www.playconcepts.co.nz/radio-contro...f/prod_547.html

well i got a small $20 coaxial rotor heli for xmas which then forced winkyy.gif me to buy a 450 size collective heli, cost me $350 ready to fly, all bits required, now to learn to fly it, my son love flying the little one, at 15months old he can fly the small coaxial one better than his grandad, much to his disgust

My daughter started the rot... I have learned the hard way that there are two brands of RC helo: In, and Out
I broke all the Ins by taking them Out.
Then I graduated to Outs, and broke them too.
The one on the right below was especially disappointing: first full flight, taken by massive windshear Up! and came back down, straight at me.
Nothing is whole, even the tailboom is wrinkled.

I am now on a Quadricopter for my Out experience, very stable, and has HD video onboard.

Charl .... or anyone else , i to have a number of these little beasts ...but one of them is a real beast .
Its not a well known brand, and may only be good for spares but its free ... its a Double horse. Its 630mm long , so its quite a weapon. Flat mates got sick of me flying inside and sucking all the jigsaw bits, books, mail and food into the air laugh.gif ...cats really hate it.

It may have an issue with the balance bar , and i need to track down the charger... but its free. (includes post)
Pm me if your interested.

Mighty generous, Marty... I too am in the business of offloading!
Anyone who fancies any of the damaged goods in the line-up above, excepting 2nd column from left (currently flyable!) is more than welcome to them.
First PM secures.
