Very cool. Probably broke a pile of "rules", but a great result & "neighbourly" gesture. We hope that the pilot's not only as good as he seems, but that he would also have flagged the idea if the situation had looked a little "iffy". ninja.gif

saw that the other day its great... I love it. I reckon he was keeping is safe, even though it seemed casual I have a feeling he knew exactly what he was doing by the look of things. cool.gif pretty sweet

The recovery was one thing but when on the ground the way the guy departed the heli with the model and the way the public approached the heli was just a little too casual.

CP , only wished i had that sorta recovery after ramming another in Victoria Lake ..Wobblyville (ex-Christchurch) Me Battleship near sunk the chaps Yacht laugh.gif

I dont think he really broke any rules. The guy in the left seat took over during the recovery and was obviously aware of what was going on. A perfectly safe operation. I probably would have shut it down or vacated the aircraft to hand it over. If I didn't live in such a nanny state I would have done the same.
