A little too casual all around for my liking!

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Very cool. Probably broke a pile of "rules", but a great result & "neighbourly" gesture. We hope that the pilot's not only as good as he seems, but that he would also have flagged the idea if the situation had looked a little "iffy". ninja.gif

The recovery was one thing but when on the ground the way the guy departed the heli with the model and the way the public approached the heli was just a little too casual.

I dont think he really broke any rules. The guy in the left seat took over during the recovery and was obviously aware of what was going on. A perfectly safe operation. I probably would have shut it down or vacated the aircraft to hand it over. If I didn't live in such a nanny state I would have done the same.
