Fijian police are investigating after an object reportedly crash-landed near the island of Kadavu earlier this evening.
The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation reported that villagers across Kadavu claimed to have seen an object resembling an aircraft fall from the sky at about 6pm.
They said they heard a loud explosion and felt tremors when the object hit the ground.
