Ive just applied for this job with Aviation Security...its only 4 hours a day, 6 on and 3 off. Shift work, which i dont mind as Ive never worked 8-5 my whole life.
Might be a good way to ease back into the full time work.....i think Im ready for that. (Im tired of this sickness stuff despite what my doc says)
Great hourly rate of $24.36 and up to $29.35 .....

I'll keep you posted.

Hmmm, probably manning one of those see-thru screening machines....? Four hours at a go would be about enough.

You'd think they could come up with something different for another 4 hours, although as a way to ease back into things 4 hour days are a pretty good go. Good luck.

Best of luck Marty!! I personally know 4 ex-mobbers that have moved into Avsec and Customs and they love it. You're not always stuck on screening duties - you're rostered on different tasks throughout your cycle and its quite varied. I know one who has moved just into drugs dog handling and she says its great........

Thanks guys....Im a bit nervous about the whole thing, and wondering if Im too old (although they dont state an age limit), and if im the right build...im 1.92 tall but not exactly built like a rugby player....but what the hell, I'll give my best, cant do anymore than that.

Thanks again for the support thumbup1.gif
