Found something different after reading Flight of the Kiwi and how Cliff Tiat used ham radio for most of his world flight. I have spoken to hundreds of people from all parts of the world the last few weeks and also SSTV which is lots of fun.

Cliff Tiats book reminded me that Ham Radio was the begining of what we all now use as pilots to this very day.
