Haven't seen any threads mention this one, thought someone would have picked up on it.

Short version : Jan 6 2012 - Japan Airlines 772 on takeoff roll on 16R, Malaysia Airlines 744 on approach to 16R to land once JAL is out of the way, departing Emirates A388 was trucking on down taxiway G from the Int'l terminal but missed the turn onto taxiway A and continued down G and out onto the runway. Aborts go-arounds and brown trousers all round - presumably including the control tower.

A380 + 777 + 747 - I do believe that's the hat trick ! ohmy.gif wacko.gif

Sister inlaw was ATC in Sydney in days of Dicky Smith , many comment on her twang in the voice and got to , not another Tenerife .
