Well, while Im waiting for my new video card, 3 case fans, a vga cooler (for overclocking the video card), in the mail, I didnt really feel like playing fs9 or GTA San Andreas at crappy detail levels and low fps. But I dug out a great game from my draw which was fun and ran well. BF1942 :D I played all day online and I had a blast. Not saying Im any good at it, I kill myself more than other people kill me, but still! it was amazing with 40 people playing in the same level :D :D

Only problem is, my wireless keyboard and mouse batteries are running low :(

A legendary game is that. Pretty awesome gameplay and decent graphics even though it is five years old. :D

I am part of 42United, a group of gamers who have played BF1942 for years.

The members are all part of various established clans who have dabbled in BF Vietnam, BF2 and BF2142 but always come back to the original due to it's gameplay over eye candy. Many of us also play Forgotten Hope, a more realistic ww2 mod for BF1942. It's a fairly casual group but we take the competitions seriously - tactics, roles, specialist players in different roles etc.

We have played in the last two GA competitions as the only NZ clan against the Aussies. We came third last year playing on Aussie servers with rubbish pings. We made it through to the finals this year and have a home final on an Xtra server tonite ... I was going to play but wanted to leave all the bandwidth for the Endurance FS Server. I'm not sure if we won or lost it - was going to be a tough game.

Anyway, BF1942 for the win!!
