Heres a brief overview of the Warbirds Downunder Airshow from Temora yesterday. A lot of very interesting aeroplanes but impossible to get decent photos.

One of five T28s.

Adressing ADF personal and veterans of 75sqn RAAF.

Three views of an F18 that I would never want to see while its running.

Meteor and Sabre.

T28 and O2

The Connie provided a bit of shade from the rediculous heat.

The other Hornet painted up to mark the anniversary of 75sqn

GA corner, thats Ground Attack for all you civvy buffs.

NZ painted Harvard.

The Connie rolling for its display.

One of the highlights of the show. A flying Hudson, they almost had it inverted during the display.

The other highlight, 75sqn flypast. Vampire and Mirage are the only two aircraft missing.

CAC Sabre, one of the better solo displays.

Yeh as I said, the Hudson was magnificent. Good to see a big aeroplane being thrown around. Its always nice to see more T28s together. There was an old 'A' model there with the origional engine. Way cool.

Nice Pics Chopper Nut - Anyone know if the Temora Canberra Bomber is still Air worthy as doesn't seem to have flown since the RAAF Amberley airshow back in 2008?.

It sat in the back of the hanger all day. Most dissapointing. No mention was made of it during the show but I heard that they had to ground their Vampire. Not sure why.
