I bet those [huge, metal, radar reflecting] prop blades make it nice and easy for it to sneak under enemy radar! laugh.gif

Ian, what's that about an An-22? unsure.gif

Manplane...that's the word!
There are other, similar things: 16lb hammer, for example

Picture is now my desktop.
I have a Kuznetsov sound loop which I sometimes play... oh dear

As I have said before " If it's ugly it's French, if it's weird it's British. If it's ugly and weird it's Russian" smile.gif
That fuse is way too skinny !!!

Um Ian, you do know what the "U" in BUFF is, don't you???
Fit for purpose... they'd have to be, to survive half a century in service.
Mean is the closest common denominator...

And CP, show us an ugly French plane, and I'll immediately raise you 3 beauts...
Marty has already fired the first shot, game over:

Ian, that is not strictly correct...

CP, despite what the French would have you believe, Airbus is owned by a Dutch-registered multinational company.
You want ugly?
Pshaw, here's some old-fashioned Boeing Fugly

Yeah but the 747 transporter aircraft is still sweet when compared to the gross and aptly named Beluga. It's a Boeing and they dont do ugly smile.gif

The quote is the other way round isn't it? If it's ugly it's Brit, if it's werid it's Frog, but theres no despute about the Ruski.
Takeoff's are optional. Landings are mandatory.
