Only a 5.3 , took the power out here only come on 10 minutes ago , but it felt like a 6 ... time to restack the shelves again , they are an impressive ride but i,m getting off lightly - its the eastern side that now must be getting past the point off no return .

Its a shame , he looked so relaxed when i saw him (Mars) on Monday....my guys, are more than likely in Queensland now....they run when a bus passes the house. I was talking to a guy at the hospital today....turned out he was a cop....his dad was sick as well....and he was just a mess....one thing after another. All these other problems wouldnt matter so much , if we didnt have to put up with the quakes as well.....everyones on edge, scared, grumpy....its awful.

Im staying with my mum, untill we find out more about dad.....i tell you what little fella....one more thing, and Im going to shoot someone.....this is not good, i mean, i havent put a screen shot on here for at least 3 days....thats not like me tongue.gif

Pm me if need anything.

Splitpin.

I must be getting a bit complacent -- I was watching the hanging lights down the length of the house, all swaying wildly, and I just sat there and hoped that the power wouldn't go off. Luckily it didn't. The cat was sitting on my lap, he just took a swipe at me as if it was my fault. Drew blood, little bugger...

I was climbing out over NZHN in the Jug and was passing through a turbulent cloud layer when it hit. Thought that Accusim was going to new heights until I realised hypoxia wasn't getting to me, my monitor was swaying instead wacko.gif

My now very old 1/48 Tamiya Lancaster which is suspended above my work stating started to oscillate, figured it was time to hit 'P' and save that from crashing to earth in flames instead! excl.gif

God sakes Mark , save the Lanc first 'P' is for powering up to grab it , I had my Frigate tethered on the bookshelf above , the shake broke the stern - did not fall this time but show how violent the shake was .

Hey mainlanders,

The rest of us on “solidâ€￾ parts of the islands really feel for you. Sentiment doesn’t go far - but I’d say every kiwi has some for Christchurch. To be quite honest I think I’d be packing up and moving by now if I was there, I admire how you fellas are hanging in there.

CAV .. i,m fortunate , appears Yaldhurst/UpperRiccarton area appears to be the most stable tho quake last night shut power down with a slam , seem to be ok when riding a shake at late night if the lights stay on but when relaxing and one hits - light go out and things crashing is a little different experience .
