Just to take you way off topic....i snapped these (and lots of others....but wont bore you with them) in the garden , and was thinking about the aerodynamics of these dudes.
The old bumble is really the bristol freighter of the bug world....compare his/her body mass with the wing area....no wonder they fly tail low. Must be constantly on the edge of a stall.
The other thing was huge, but from a physics point of view, in better shape.....but....butt ugly.
Also watch those little fly/bee things that can move like UFO's......unreal directional control. and perfect in the hover.....
If im not looking up....Im looking down, and then i miss all the stuff in the middle.....oh well.....enjoy the bugs boys
