Actually that isnt US macho yak. It the territorial yak of Arctic Canada. Buffalo Joe IRL is known for his attitude and language. You do what you have to up here to survive, the Arctic is no place for debate in little matters such as language. Basically less talk and more action gets the job done. Thats the rule here and it saves lives. Most people who ive saved in SAR break this rule and only about 35% live to learn the lesson of the arctic and working in the Arctic.
