Blackbery 8800 Problem..

A forum for everything else that does not fit into the other categories

Hello. I have a blackberry 8800 from T-Mobile and last night I was in the middle of upgrading the operating system when, believe it or not, my comupter SHUT DOWN. So I thought, I will just plug it back in and load up my backup...but unfortunately, when I plug in my device, I get a message saying the USB device has malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it.The 8800 screen doesn't display anything, but the LED light blinks twice over and over. Is there anything I can do to restore my backup somehow? Can the phone be sent in somewhere to get the original data restored?
 Thanks in advance.

tried removing the battery for a minute?

Also, theres a few mobile phone repair shops around which could save your data and have your phone up and running again with no problems. Be prepared to spend some money though. Have you tried googling the problem? It seems to be pretty common.
