Seems to me that this forum has been set up as an alternative to this one for some people who obviously have got annoyed here.

I can't be bothered with that cr@p. All the info I want and most of the key players that I have got to know during the last 10 years of Flight Simming are here.

I don't have the time to surf thru another forum as well.

Yeah, It would seem that http://flightmax.proboards104.com/ has a pretty poor view of NZFF. They're probably best left alone, with any luck they'll die off without too much of a bang.

These group dynamics are always fascinating. For myself NZFF is the only forum I visit because of the cr@p that many forums seem to encourage and support, that hasnt happened here, if it ever did I would certainly not hesitate to depart.

As someone who deals with this sort of thing everyday in a business sense, I think its important to let people do there thing. Getting into verbal exchanges etc never acheive anything, they just entrench people more deeply in their own views and bitterness, and often can spill over and drag everyone into a b***h fight. When that happens there is no going back, forums are destroyed. I've seen it happen many times.

So a bit of maturity is always welcome, there are enough forums where that isnt present if people want it.

These arent the same idiots that tried it on with Hinch over the PMDG 1900 saga are they, that was an orchestrated peice of cr@p tactic if u ask me.

Is it meant to be members-only viewing? I've never understood restricting viewing to members -- how do you know if you want to become a member if you can't see what's going on inside?

Although I am not happy at some of the responses I have read here whats ging on in these other two forums is beyond me :blink:

How can we be sure which is which? What I find funny is the names of the administrators of the new new forum (you with me?)

Email addresses going back to Crazy Craig, Nats 2003 and a surprise with Squirrel350. So who is Dreamundoer? Craigs new username?

Who is Flight Max? Max Branegan? who is that?

Incidentally Robin the forum that gives you hate is definitly violating its hosts TOS http://www.proboards.com/tos.html and as you are running a business and the board is hosted in the US I suggest you can sue for defamation and get some BIG bux as you can in the US :clap:

Hey, I do have that TOS here on my desk, but in the end I decided that they are doing no harm -- they may as well enjoy themselves.
I may change my mind, though, as someone pointed out I may be seen as condoning piracy of my scenery by not taking any action.
In the meantime I'm happy that although 'Desperate Housewives' is only on once a week, I can come here for my soap fix any time I like!

I've never understood restricting viewing to members -- how do you know if you want to become a member if you can't see what's going on inside?

To get more members? Hmm I'v joined,im happy to be a member there and get info on craig and mikes scenery and support any online events they will organise threw it...

Although with the voz fourms and nzff it would be hard to compete.

ive got to say guys that craig and i have nothing to do with the flightmax board and the only post on our old forum are those of my own and craigs , there is no connection with them at all apart from the NAME that will be changed on the soonest moment ,also the forum that craig and i started awhile back is not for vengance to nzff or any other means
i see someone is just trying to stir a pot that really really has been stirred to many times and he is only looking worst than peas that have been left to boil to long
our forum will be open properly one day{not soon } to support like james said our passion for flightsim and our own scenerys ,plus our m/p ways ,ofcourse ,
funny how every week i get sent a link back to here to see the soap unfolding
