Sunday morning (20th Sept) was a really foggy "Septembery" start to the day, which slightly delayed my usual Sunday ride-out with the rest of the Bikers to Abergavenny in Wales!
The fog cleared by 10:30 leaving a nice sunny day, although getting rather cold. (I have to don my thermal underwear now!).
A nice leisurely ride there, to spot a wide selection of bikes, including some shiny Harley, Honda, Suzuki, etc, Cruisers!
I took some cheese and pickle sandwiches with me, together with a nice mug of hot tea from the 'Bus Station Café to warm me up!
On the return journey, I fitted my video camera (SJ 4000) on the back of my bike facing rearwards, to video all the traffic behind me, dying to overtake me...(as they do!)....
.....but I'm in no hurry...40-45 MPH....(50 MPH downhill with a big grin!), with a mere 98cc of 2-stroke engine howling under my Yamaha petrol tank!.... ;) .... ...!

Back at home now, getting my Sunday Dinner on the go (Steak Pie), and sampling a glass (or three?) of South African Pinotage Shiraz, whilst I download the video off my camera to compile with "Microsoft Movie Maker", and publish, for my friends to watch...(or not...BORING!).... ;) .. ...!

So, there you go, Chums!... :D ...!

Another joyous day, motor-biking, before the weather gets uncomfortably cold, and spoils my fun!

Paul.....Bike it!....You'll like it!.... ...!

Sorry, no photo's....I have to keep loading my camera with AA batteries before I can take a shot!... ...!

Photo's?.... ....

...but all is not lost!... ;) ....

Sunday 27th September.

Outing to Abergavenny in Wales!

A lovely sunny day (although rather cool in the shade) brought out dozens of Bikers.

A spectacular mix of British, Japanese, and Italian Sportsers, and Harley Davidson Cruisers!

A lovely, enjoyable run in which I videoed the whole return journey back to Hereford!

Arrived back home in time to cook my Sunday Dinner!

Ian...There's nothing quite like the howling sound of a frantic two-stroke on full song!

No longer to be experienced on new models due to excessive smoke embarrassment creating holes in the Ozone Layer... :( ...1

I love creating holes in the Ozone Layer on Sunday afternoons on my Bike...

Hello Biker Chums and enthusiasts!.... ....!

Its Sunday the 18th of October, on a dull, rather cool morning at 10*C... ...!

My lovely Sister is visiting me today from London, to enjoy one of my World-renowned, Fabulous, Sunday Dinners....(Always worth the journey).... ;) ...!

...so no live biking tours today!.... ;) ....!

Instead, how about a recent 24 mile trip from Hereford in England to Abergavenny in Wales....

...this time, recorded in black and white, on my Yamaha RX-S 100, 98cc, 2-stroke, Speed-mobile, to remind me of my Biking tours in the early 1950's on the very same journey astride my trusty 1949 Royal Enfield 350 Bullet.....>>>>

https://www.dropbox.com/s/dtwv746u1d1mh ... 1.mp4?dl=0

A journey back in time, along familiar roads, when there was very little traffic on the roads, and tyre punctures were quite common due to Boot Studs and Horse-shoe nails littering the highway...not forgetting the ever present loose gravel on the corners guaranteed to unseat one at every opportunity!
...and shiny "plastic" motorcycle tyres on wet roads!... :o ...!

Its a time when the whole World was black and white, and colour hadn't jet been invented, so far!.... ....!

A journey into my distant past, which I fondly remember so well!

Enjoy it, as much as I did at he time!.... :D ...!

Paul....Winding the clock in time back to 1950!.... ...!

P.S...adjust your volume carefully...lots of Brake Squeal!.... ...!

P.P.S...For our American Chums: Note the British Traffic light colour sequence:

Start:
Red.
Red and Amber. (Get ready to Start).
Green. (Go).

Stop:
Green.
Amber. (Get ready to Stop).
Red. (Stop).

.... ... ... ...!

I noticed that the USA traffic light sequence appeared to be different from ours when watching various American motorcycle rides on You-Tube.
They don't appear to have the; "Amber pause" like we do...the bit that warns you that something is likely to happen!

Get ready to start, or get ready to stop.

Its either red or green, and not much in between!.... :o ...!

OR EVEN better classic's ... drive around railway barrier arms ... I'm even scared to cross one off those as a pedestrian ... so yip ... you can help some people but others you may as well tie em to the tracks or place them in an intersection as judder bars.

Railway crossings terrify me on my Bike!.... .....

Even when the lights are green, and/or the barriers are open, I still cant help but stop, listen, and look both ways before very quickly crossing, and breathing a sigh of relief when safely on the other side!.... ...!

Anything approaching me from the side, is always cause for worry!

Paul..... :D ...!

Still waiting for this to arrive on my front garden path!.... .... >>>> http://powersports.honda.com/2015/rebel.aspx

Railway lines , My father was a big red bus driver in Christchurch and back then , Stopped well before the crossing , looked both way ways then off you go .. today it is a drive thru tho rail has near depleted and almost history.

Hello Biking Chums!

Just a couple of short videos of some of my local shopping journeys as a bit of an experiment to obtain different filming angles!

https://www.dropbox.com/s/gowwrk7qewk1o ... 1.mp4?dl=0

https://www.dropbox.com/s/zmojwysdp43gw ... 1.mp4?dl=0

https://www.dropbox.com/s/6otg9cwg5yeqx ... a.mp4?dl=0

To be able to store my Videos in Dropbox, (2 GB Max in one go), I have to make them very short, so catch them before I have to remove them to make room for some more!

Got lots of long, 1-hour Biking videos, but upload time and storage are always a problem!

So take a shopping trip, and sing along with Fozzer!.....Scary!.... ... ...!

Paul....Bike it, you'll like it!.... ...!

Early Sunday Morning, December 20th!

Off from Hereford to Manchester to collect my new (S/H) Cruiser Motorcycle: Honda Rebel.... ....!

Advertised on E-bay and Gumtree.

A long old trip, 130-odd miles there, with one of my Lads in a hired Van.

Hopefully, if all goes well, I will have a nice comfy cruiser for my tours around the English Countryside with my Go-Pro Video Camera, to post some tours on You-Tube, etc!

Looking forward to that, in the Spring and Summer months ahead!

Photos later!

In the depths of Winter at the moment!

Paul.... :D ...!
