Where are you off to these holidays?

Just wondering where everyone else is going.

I myself am leaving soon to Asia. Going to Sydney for a day then onto Asia.
Qantas the whole way. Hopefully many pictures and videos. I am going on at least 6 flights almost guaranteed to increase.
And I am going on a 737! As well as a 777, and A320 and 747.

Cheers, it would be good to hear where you are all going and what on.

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Which countries are you going to visit Kelburn?Whereever you go you sure are a lucky man! it's all good! Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Korea etc.. very interesting!

I'm going up north as usual (Whangarei raised) to Taupo Bay just out of Mangonui on the East coast of Northland.

Awesome surfing! Mid-tide left and right breaks, choices are plenty! Camping for 2 weeks in a big 12 man tent with my wife, 3 kids and my family friends tenting next door to us. Awesome fishing, loads of beautiful Snapper up there. Then when the kids go to bed, out comes the beer and laughs.

The calmest day ever, a real surf bummer

Working at the airport until Xmas and spending the 25th at our Wairarapa bach, then going on a 'road trip' of sorts with dad and a couple of his mates to Karamea on the West Coast. They're taking their classic trucks, a nate and I are taking his two cars- a 1974 Mk1 Escort and a 1971 Mini Clubman. Some of you Blenheim residents have probably seen both around. As soon as I get back I'm flying down to Wanaka on ANZ ($569 return! blink.gif ) to stay at a mates bach for new years, I think there's about 10 of us there. When I get back from that I'm heading down to Blenheim to stay with my mate with the Mini and Escort for a week or so. About a week after I get back we're heading up to Pukawa on Lake Taupo for our family holiday, then back to school sad.gif , although it's 7th form for me so kinda looking forward to it biggrin.gif

Working and chipping away at my PPL, won't be far away! And browsing for a new motorbike, there's only so much 2-strokeyness one can take..

That would be with Reece would it? Sounds like a blast- I love roadtrips.

Me and my mates are doing a simular thing down to The Mount, except all crammed into Hiace Vans (the more the merrier, and about $500 cheaper than your Wanaka flight!)

Haha, well what do you expect when they close off the main street on New Years Eve and throw a street party! I think last year there were more Aucklanders there than locals- met a heap of people from my college who we didn't even know had come down for the night laugh.gif

Hoping to staff travel to Hong Kong on New Years Eve (fingers crossed for Business Class upgrade!)... and then connect to Cathay flight to Penang that afternoon...

A day or two there for Sister-in-Law's wedding celebrations... and then back to HK for a couple of days to buy computer bits and pieces (jade translated this as "shoes" rolleyes.gif) and then back home (fingers AND toes crossed for Business Class upgrade!)

Not really going anywhere for Christmas, but got a couple of weekends away in Jan to Rotorua for speedway and Taupo for the A1GP (Trolly and VAC are you still coming to that ? Accommodation provided ...)

Cheers
