it's funny when i went for my restricted, many many moons ago, it was when the Catalina had just arrived in nz and was flying around the country, we had just started the test, had stopped at an intersection, i heard a strange sound, looked out and saw the catalina doing low slow pass over masterton, i said to the instructor, i know i shouldn't be looking at this, but there goes the Catalina, he said "stuff the test i want to see this plane", we ended up driving to the airport and sat at the airport for about ten minutes watching the cat fly around, then back to the test which i flew though

In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.
