I once had the dubious privilege of babysitting a flock of 100 or so emu's - it's a long story...
They are a cantankerous breed, especially the Girls.
Only way to avoid being henpecked, is to stick your arm straight up, palm down, above their heads.
They transplant this into their bird brains as being somehow dominant, and then leave you alone. :blink:
