Remembering 911

I've watched so many doco's on this in the past, but the one I watched today was all amateur filming.
It was pretty hard going even after all this time. Parts of it was footage from the firefighters, including their radio comms. Listening to that in hindsight, and knowing what they didn't back then was sad.
One unit made it to the floor below the impact point on the first tower and was calling for 2 more hose lines because they thought they could tackle the fire.....in my head, I was shouting ..GET OUT.
Don't think I'll watch anymore ...... RIP all those lost.

Hello Marty!

You made me pop into my Trusty YouTube Channel regarding the subject of; "Fire Fighters", and this popped up...>>>

A wealth of information regarding the 9-11 Disaster!

The USA Firefighters are a special breed of folks as I watch their response to all the horrific Road Traffic Accidents in and around Southern California; Los Angeles and San Diego, in my YouTube "Law Enforcement" News, throughout every day!

They are first on the scene, long before the Police and Medical Team arrive, with all the equipment necessary to rescue the survivors.
Their professional expertise is a wonder to observe as they work through the tangled debris before them.
They are a magical breed, and how they overcome the horrendous sights they are exposed to, is something quite out of the ordinary!
Their baggy, yellow, reflected uniforms, and large, protective helmets, are a sight to behold, during the scene, and can't be mistaken!
I am always amazed by the typical folks who come to save us in our times of dire need.
