Don't have discovery here , but brain thinking, a plane sitting on the ramp with passenger off to a planned destination ... next thing a chap jumps on board fly's off and heads to the local aircraft bone-yard

sounds good a couple of the series are on youtube just search aircraft repo and they should be there, these guys must have a variety of aircraft types in the logbook

They drove into an area too late to stop the plane taking off. The cameras were already there to film the plane leaving and them arriving....?

Seemed like a good show but we have to ask ourselves is this another BS reality jackup, made for the viewers, or is it real life. I have my doubts.

Actually I knew a guy back in the eighties who was involved in aircraft repossession. It was all cloak and dagger stuff and he was shot at many times. The repo's were on a global scale with the odd one from some very unsavory places. He ended up in NZ flying some of the King air turbo props that where prevalent at the time. Not sure what became of him. Of course the discovery channel is not a patch on what it once was and I am sure that they will over hype it and turn it into another 'deadly catch' template saga.

I think its closer to home as well , the "Kim Dot Com" Saga .. Cloak and Dagger .... I look at John Banks , slimmey as hell , breaks all the rules and laws then pass's the word "Do You No Who I Am" when caught - maybe he needs a bullet , good thing is nowdays they grab grab the CRIMINALS assets, Dose John Banks own a Helicopter ?

Hi all

I think you guys are all right the show is staged. if the bank wants the plane back why can't they just take it. don't need to steel it in the dark of night.
the one i watched the other night had the pilot say v1 then there was no rotate or vr. If they are in that much of a hurry then when do they have time to fit all the cameras to the plane??
