Viggens thrust reverse is quite cool I like the U-turn.

Impressive , again this aircraft was years ahead off it time .. most fighters of the period had the long runout .. then you had to out and pickup a chute on some of them .. not a bad performance for an old licence built JT8D with a homegrown afterburner glued to it cool.gif

What a mean looking machine..keep thinking about an old Matchobox kit I wanted to get when I was young when I see one of these.

Pity it didnt get the export succes it deserved..the Mirage series dominated on that front and later the F-16

No.... None at all I think. Replaced by the Gripen

Edit: just looked it up. There is one flying on the Swedish civil register
