I ordered a few packages , the company was based in Eugene Oregon , now a little worry after the package did'nt turn up ... the tracking was not working ... biggrin.gif finally turned up - I have it on good authority that NZ is in Australia , Its writen all over the box tongue.gif

I checked the doc's inside and yes postal address was to Christchurch New Zealand , Im thinking off sending a map off the world to show where this country is ... these adverts on TV currently running proving we have left a mark on this world , only in Australia laugh.gif tongue.gif blink.gif

Well close enough .... I mean Aussie is just a few thousand miles away! Sheesh... Bit like when my Mum sent something to us addressed correctly to Renwick, South Island and it went to Randwick Australia. Maybe postie had watched to much League on the telly or something !!

Way back in the dark ages I used to be a Customs Agent and I worked briefly (but not briefly enough - I started jobhunting at lunchtime on my 1st day) with a large international freight forwarder / courier. I lost count of the parcels that used to turn up from the UK branches that should have gone to Bishop Auckland which is about 20 miles south of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

We may get sparky about our Heritage and History , but least we no where we are rolleyes.gif .... whoops .. should'nt say that , .......... this one girl , said to her - take for a ride over the port hills , down and around into the Gov and across to Diamond Harbour .. She said ... blink.gif Ooooh were is that rolleyes.gif .. she won't get a job at the NZ postal service unsure.gif .. least hope not

She really enjoyed the ride , showed her parts she'd never seen before .. she still would not make it as a postie tongue.gif
