Still cant fly....or screen, but i found these and i thought they were along the lines of what i may have done....would love to see the Charl "real vs sim" treatment on these.

Marty, You know how much I like afterburner, same goes for heat shimmer. Nice photos, still prefer your screens though. cool.gif

I have heard tales that tell of how McDonnell engineers purposely made that thing look mean, so as to sell it!
It is not the optimum aero solution, apparently.

First one is a stunner I reckon, not least because its one of the few Typhoon pics where you don't see the intake - and go '"Oh dear, what was the Committee thinking?"
I'd take up the challenge, but don't have the Eurofighter in the shed...

All the bad points about it , sure as hell rocked the sixies and seventys .. no gun for starters , smokey as hell but by jingle could it Rock when required - I recall the day they mentioned they where to be retired from the US Navy course back then was no mention off the Midways my heart sunk .
