Hey there, this question is only because i cant be bothered waiting till tomorrow to ask my tutor. tongue.gif

This one is for you techies out there notworthy.gif

OK here goes, my board, AM3 socket supports up to 1600mhz (DDR3) and some RAM i just came into possession of is 2000mhz OCZ flex 11 ram . Am i right in thinking the motherboard will support it but downclock it to the max speed it can handle (1600mhz) or will it just give me the dreaded RAM error beep code on POST?

Any help appreciated smile.gif
