Knighthoods or new 'Honours' system?

A forum for everything else that does not fit into the other categories

Just read the paper and saw an article on this. Which would you like to see in place?

I suppose I'd personally prefer knighthoods, but doesn't really affect me ... yet. tongue.gif rolleyes.gif

Knighthoods all the way - such a time honoured tradition, steeped in history and widely recognized around the world. The NZ equivalent does not cut it for me - thanks Aunty Helen !!

Don't care biggrin.gif
They're both pretty prestigious, and if you've done something great enough to deserve one, what it's called will be the least of your worries.

Knighthoods are better as they are recognised internationally a new honours system would take a while for people overseas to recognise.

I preferred the Knighthoods system, like Deane said they are much more internationally recognised.
