HOw long would an average parcel take to go from christchurch to hamilton if it was sent first thing in the morning with nz couriers overnight service? Is there any info page which has their shipping times written?

i was thinking it would be overnight, but I cant possible think how they could get it from Chch to hamilton in 1 day unless it was by plane, which would cost a fortune

Would indeed be overnight. NZ Couriers goes on Airfreight's Convairs.
If you sent it with Courier Post it would travel on the 737 to Auckland then be roaded to Hamilton.

cheers

NZ Couriers claim they can deliver it by 9:30am the next morning. Just Google NZ Couriers and set up an account.

Shouldn't do. It should travel on QC tonight and then road to HLZ. Delivery time will be dependant on which CH-AA sector it travels overnight.

I think it all depends on the actual courier, some get the job done on time, some just sit on their ass all day and don't do a thing. I've had things sent by overnight couriers and waited a good week for it to arrive, while at the same time had things sent through regular post and had them arrive from further away in just a few days.

Generally NZ post is good, never had any bad experiences with them, only heard 1 or 2 stories where things went missing or sent overseas.
