Are the first few taken from the roof of Dunedin hospital? Also, in the last two, how did you manage to get the red and white blade circles to come out like that?

The last two photo's were taken during a training day in the Taeiri Gorge in 2005, I think by the ODT in another chopper. I have some more but decided just to upload a couple of the best ones.

As I didn't take the last two myself, I can't give you the exact answer. Some of the others I have dont show the rings quite as well so the angle of the sun is important and I expect the exposure times were slow enough to allow the ring effect.

Yes the first couple of shot are taken from the roof of the hospital. The drop off from 9 stories up is rather impressive. If you look carefuly you can also see the rescue webbing around the pad. If you fall one way ist only about 3 meters to concrete but the other......its a _long_ way down.

the pic are the best i have seen yet and make mine that took 2 weeks ago look very basic .also how did u get the flight in it as i live in mataura but am only a 5 min drive to nzgc and vist dunedin on a regular basis
