Check out this very impressive hovering. Powerline survey

An interesting? job for the guy on the lines but definately not a job for a windy day I'm picking.

Want to try it in a S300 in the sim? Get the addon here at Hovercontrol.

Sitting on the side of a helo with safety line - maybe.
Scooting along power lines with safety line - no way !!!

That is a way in which technicians can do "live" survey and repair work of high tension power wires. They will be looking for damage and corrosion of the wires I guess
