Not sure how far out there this has made it yet but Bill Hailes and Ned Dawson are putting on a gathering to celebrate the Hughes 500 at Bill's place in Hanmer on Feb 18/19. I don't think I'll be in country for it unfortunately and I'm not sure if it's going to be 'open' to the public or not but if you have a connection with the machine at all, head over to the Facebook page for information. So far there are 52 aircraft that are supposed to turn up.
