Passing by the ghost town that is NZAA over the weekend...

Although an A380 fan, I am really sorry to see these go.
That herringbone passenger layout can't really be beat.

Yes you would have seen one. Parked outside Avspec last I saw it end of last year.

Quite right... it was this one:

CAC Sabre under restoration, dunno why Avspecs didn't immediately come to mind, it's not just WWII props that get the treatment!

To protect the tyres from UV deterioration. This particular bird (OKQ) should be test flown within the next couple of weeks and then back in service.

The plan was to have them running by July.
I'm not sure what affect Cindy's 5 stage Covid recovery plan might have on this timing.
