Notes from MRC ZM401, as "Ascot 4100", arrived Wellington mid afternoon 23 February having made its way south from Nadi. On the 24th it conducted two local flights - the first for media then carrying NZ Defence staff. The same day it flew low level to Christchurch where it made a low approach and overshoot before making its way to Ohakea where it was placed on static display for the weekend.

I was surprised Ian myself I thought it only Went as far as Wellington. On the Sunday evening the Kc135 and two F-16s landed at Christchurch for a refuel before pushing onto
Australia.

One thing with the A330-200MRTT or 340 series they do have a look , very typical A300 when it first showed up in Christchurch back 1974 .

Wow no kidding.
Thanks for the link deeknow, it kind of answers my question about "should you look, or take the picture".
Someone else will have taken a better picture, guaranteed.
I'll bring you back a snap of an F-35 if I can get close to it, memento of what $200m looks like on the ground :)

Appears from the snap shots on the web the Sunday would have been better. Saturday was good if you wanted mementos. The only down side most of the items they wanted a arm and a leg for.
Allot of the aircraft did not have pins but coins but they were not cheap at $20.00 each.

That is the thing with shows like this , every little bit helps to keep then going course Ohakea being a special prices would have been marked up, you find a lot of that stuff across the net.
