Hey all, just wondering, could someone assist me with this aircraft. I know it's a Piper PA-24 Commanche, but I'd like to know the specific model. (e.g. PA-24-180 etc.) I've looked on the CAA and they only list it as a generic PA-24. A Google search hasn't returned anything. Registration is ZK-CYT. I've had this photo accepted on Airliners.net under the generic PA-24 designation, but I'm now wanting to upload to Jetphotos.net as well and they require the specific model. I think it may be usually based in New Plymouth. Thanks in advance.

not that im any expert (far far far from it) doesn't each piper model have differant names for each aircraft vaiant? LIke the PA-38 theres the archer, cherokee (PA-28-140), so perhaps jsut search the aircrafts name on jetphotos and see what other people have put for its model..

hope this helps
James

I had a look through google, nothing :(

***EDIT*** Here's an idea. I won't post the phone number, but I will post the process. What you need to do is ring up the owner and ask them.

1. Go into the CAA aircraft register and find the the aircraft. Note the owner's name, and location.

2. Go to http://www.whitepages.co.nz/ and search for the name (last name is fine). Match the last name results to the location given on the register.

3. Write down the number, and ring em up and ask em :D
