I never realized how loud those things were until I saw a whole pack of them at NZPP, fueling up after coming back from warbirds.

Strangely Nick there were many complaints when Wigram was the main base up to 1977, I guess they did not have the call centers they do have today but they replaced them with the snarly buzz of the CT-4s which were worst ! .... the Harvards .. simply music to my ears and after flying in one did not appear to noisy at all , yesterday was a treat ... really did bring memories back, all I ever saw when I was growing up along with the Devons, they even operated at night up 10/11 o'clock at night ... going round and round and round ... Boooootyful!
