Is it one they intend to plop onto a fishing boat for less expense compared to the 500s?

Obvious Nick is quite happy with it , I'd prefer the 500, looks better and has the history- I do prefer the turbine tho.

I'm not in a position to divulge too much information about the plan but we are taking two Cabris initially with the possibility for more in the future if they work out. They are a terrific little machine. Fly very much the same as the 500. The fenestron takes a little getting used to but they aren't too bad once you know the traps. I was blasting around at low level in one the other day and it was just a pleasure.

Small enough to plop it in my front yard for lunch

Yep, quite a small footprint and less worries about tail rotor strikes. We had it in the bush the other day into some REALLY small pads and it was much easier than an R22

I'll stick with drawing your 500 , got some great ideas and very much got your old fishing boat FK-188 , Ill tinker away and get the details corrected , don't think a Cabri would suit the , guessing what I have in mind.
Have you returned to the , your original boat ?
