Just some more from my personal collection, this time of some more regular visitors through WLG. Sorry about the ones taken over the fence, I was just too lazy to go out on the apron to get them!! :P

As far as I am aware, the last time a 767 flew into WLG. The Korean premiers arrival.

Sorry about the quality, this is a crop of a larger photo. The Islander is the only thing missing out of this photo. It hadnt been in service long when this was taken.

What did you mean by going out onto the Apron? How do you do that here in Wellington?

Also was that 767 pic taken on the day that NZAA & NZCH was closed? because I was at the Wellington Flight Centre holiday fun day thingy and could see them out accross the tarmac and was quite close to them when they lifted off. Aldo on that day a C-130 made an emergency landing at NZWN and stoped incredibly quickly, swiveled around a taxied onto the taxiway W2 and shut down It's engines (they clkosed the runway for 10 minutes, heaps of planes were going around)

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

I had only ever seen the westwind at AA, i knew it was ugly, but god........ its even worse than i first thought, im sorry but it looks like it should be in a marina not on an apron.....

choppernut must have an airport ID card, or he has a lot of gusto using his license to get air side to take photos (at a security designated aerodrome)

Yeah I work for WIAL. But when I am at the aeroclub, I just go for a wander around a bit. I know most of the avsec guys now and they leave me alone. Sometimes I go and sit at Stub E and take photos there, its quite a good spot. The other good spot is on top or out front of the airport fire station. Thats where the photos of the A320 and the 767 were taken

Neat! I want to get a part time job, any job, at NZAA that lets me wonder around airside- then I'd bring my camera to work every day lol :P

A guy who is in my class at Ardmore Flying School works as a baggage handler there part time, although he implied that the demand for part timers isn't great.
