As the title says, what does a bird strike (in a jet engine) look like in real life? Im thinking a puff of feathers, and maybe a noise?
Any help appreciated. Pictures are fine

There are a few vids on Youtube I think, and also if you look carefully there are at least a few photos on Airliners.net of bird-strikes "in progress". Basically does just look like a puff of feathers.
