For the latest New Zealand aviation news stories, visit the aviation page on the Herald website here: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/topic/index.cfm?c_id=556

Or, if you want to know what the real pilots have to say, then visit the 'Dunnunda & Godzone' section of http://www.pprune.org/forums/

Other great resources are:

MRC Aviation, "a blog that will keep you informed of factual happenings and activity in the NZ aviation scene. Primary focus will be given to interesting aircraft movements with a view of expanding to other newsworthy items."
http://www.mrcaviation.blogspot.com/

Wings Over Cambridge/ Wings Over New Zealand Aviation Forum
http://rnzaf.proboards43.com/

Airlines.net, "the biggest and most visited aviation site on the Internet. The community of users includes airline crew members, airline management, plus over 1,200,000 aircraft photographs"
Airliners.net

Just stumbled across another site similar to the MRC Blog- 'zkarj.co.nz'

It has heaps of recent aviation photos from all over the country, plus an entire image catalog of NZ Warbird aircraft which is very handy (especially if you're planning a FS repaint). See the NZ Warbirds Visual Guide.

Another cool page features detailed spotting locations at NZAA and NZWN set onto their google map satellite images, which can be seen here: http://www.zkarj.co.nz/blog/photographers-maps

Also, in the sidebar, I found a link to 'Rodney’s Aviation Ramblings', which is another blog site set out in a similar format, with plenty more planespotting pics from the Welly region: http://flyinggeek.blogspot.com/

I get most issues but am starting to find more and more of interest in the glossy pages of pacific wings. I occasionally pick up one of the plethora of sports aviaiton mags too
