Posted: Sat Jun 03, 2006 5:30 pmToday i went to the canterbury aero club for a introductry thats was canceld last week because of fog. I flew in a PA-32-112 or "tomahawk". We taxied up to the hold short lines of runway 02. We waited a few mins while a A320 landed right infront of us!! 
once the airbus cleared the runway my instructor lined us up and told me what to do for takeoff (just the same as what i do in my sim every day!) I pused the trottle full forward ,built up to 60 knots then pulled back 
I got to fly over the city for a while doing turns etc.. I wasnt able to get over my home because of airspace and stuff. My instructor asked me what I want to do so of course i said " Steep turn!" She asked if I wanted to do it or her do it for me , I took the obveis anserw. I rolled the aircraft in to a 45 degree turn to the left then to the right , It was so kool!
Then I flew to the airport and then my instructor took the controls and enterd the traffic pattern and land. (she didnt let me land
)
We taxied to parking and shut down the aircaft. I got my photo taken infront of the aircraft. I might post it here when i get it ( it was taken on a aero club camera and I can pick it up from a photo shop this week )
So that was my introductry flight. it was great!.....Now all I have to do is save up for my ppl traing from my paper round (dat'll take a very long time lol) and not use it all on buying a faster p.c. lol
