Full emergency at WLG 22-6-07

Weather last nite was rubbish here, only two out of four international flights actually made it in. Every aircraft except the PB flight had more than one attempt at landing. ZK-OJE operating as NZ754 shot the standard missed approach of runway 34 at 0036. Once airborne he switched to 122.3, as did we ;) He was given radar vectors back for the ILS. When turning base, a PAN call came through from him reporting "Smoke and a burning electrical smell in the cockpit and cabin" The aircraft returned to the field without incident at 0053 and remained on the runway while AFS (Airport Fire Service) checked out the externals for anything obvious. The aircraft moved under its own power to gate 27 where it spent the night.

I think the problem has been solved, well I hope so as it is just rotating on the return leg as I type this!!

That's never a good thing, even if it usually doesn't turn out to be anything too major. :o

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

LOL and really loud and annoying when it pulls up right behind you like ZK-TTL everytime we are in NZAP and that ugly pink thing as well prefer them when they are taking off/landing or shutdown.
