I guess those are pretty fat routes so priority.

They certainly get their money's worth: I once flew SYD-JNB in the back of one of those, 10 abreast, and it was 110% full.

That must be Qantas 747SP which had longer range than any 747. Correct??

No, the one I flew was a 747-400.
Mind you, I just checked and they have all been retired!
Their B787-9 would work on that 11,000km route.
