OMG! blink.gif unsure.gif ninja.gif The approach to their temporary airstrip is insane!! side slipping about 15 feet from the top of a building!

I now understand why they will never have the air-racing in NZ... they'd NEVER get CAA approval for something like that!

I'll say! Why didn't they just use London City airport if it was closed to public traffic?

And when was that race- last week? Does that mean its gonna be on TV1 next weekend?

The race was this weekend just gone. Reason they couldn't use City was that they needed the strip from Wednesday through Monday, and City's small apron couldn't accommodate them for the whole time. City is closed anyway Saturdays and Sunday mornings, so they only had to keep it closed an extra couple of hours.
