What can you say about the Carabou -- ugly as, but this is impressive: very short landing, reverses up in a cloud of dust, then off again.

The corsair  The Carabou would have been interesting, hugely versatile aircraft they are getting rid of, craziness

After veiwing the possible replacement at Avalon I agree , the C27 Spartan could Barrel roll and go up like the shuttle ..... and down , would'nt want to the troops inside
 PUKE
another consideration was the fuel , Radials in the Connie days had higher octane , able to get 3500hp out there motor , progress/greenie's get in knock the Octane do a level were engines run max at 2900hp .. better for the Connie ! :) keeps it going for many years longer , trouble old Bou is that older type with maybe same cosideration , but believe the noise is there priority :( BUT this dose not deter me since the display is so brilliant i had to get one :D

COOL PICS ROB  :plane:

I'm seeing Carabou's everywhere latly! Firstly it was a non airworthy one at Calundra Air Museum (In Queensland), then in Victor Alpha Charlie's sig, and now in this post!

Where did the Omaka one fly in from? Does it reside in NZ?
